New Office Complex to Vitalize Hastings’ Economy
The Hastings Town Centre has recently seen the formal opening of One Priory Square, an impressive new office complex in the heart of the city. This move has been welcomed by town businessmen, as it is likely get more companies to Hastings and thereby boosting the local economy.
However, CEO of Ten Sixty Six Enterprise Ham Marley voiced his apprehension that the new office space may be difficult to fill during the present period of recession. Alan Canon, Director of AM Commercial Ltd, believes that One Priory Square, situated on the corner area of Havelock Road and Priory Street, has a very pro-business location in the city of Hastings. He anticipates that new firms will lap up the office spaces as soon as recession gets over.
Three concerts were held on the day of the formal inauguration, and some 200 invitees had turned up to attend the ceremony. The guests were able to enjoy a panoramic view of Hastings and surrounding areas from the sixth floor balcony.
One Priory Square with its six storeys offers 44,000 sq ft of office space. It has been developed by Coastal Land LLP, and the complex is a joint venture initiative between the economic development firm Sea Space and property specialists The Land Group.
