Remember those days when portable phones were heavier (and larger) than bricks? Back in those primitive days, business people (the only ones who could afford such an expensive service) spent as much on doctors and massages (to get rid of the contractures caused by carrying around those eight pound monsters) as they spent on mobile telephony itself. Worse yet, those huge phones were rarely sold, but instead they were leased, so you didn’t even own your own equipment.

Luckily for us, mobile telephony has evolved in such a way that today cell phones are even more used that toasters or Television sets, as most houses have at least one phone per family member, but rarely more than three TVs per household.

I’ve thought on this concept for the last few months, I thought it was my original concept. But it already exists. Well, ‘Metaevolution’ is, unsurprisingly, evolution of evolution. But the existing concept of metaevolution is quite different from mine. Existing concept defines meta evolution as evolution of evolution since the big-bang ( i.e. the birth of universe), but I define metaevolution as the evolution of evolution (EoE) since the birth of life (on earth?).

This means that all throughout life’s history evolution has not remained same, it itself changes with time to time. See, this is a two way process: evolution changes the organism so that it tries to become perfect for existing environment. But an organism is not separate from environment; it is very well a part of environment. It changes and modifies the environment constantly. Thus, evolution in altered environment doesn’t work in the same way. Thus, evolution has been changed. If there is more than one organism in a particular environment, each affects the environment in his own way. So there is more complex change in environment. Each changes the environment in his own way and thus affecting the process of evolution which applies to all organisms in that environment.

The only species which has had major affect on metaevolution has been undoubtedly, Humans!! I say this because humans, thanks to their evolved brains, developed great tools and techniques to alter environments. These all stories of mass extinctions of rare species are demonstrations of nothing but meta-evolution. The humans have changed the course of evolution; therefore, the incapable species don’t fit into the environment anymore. Thus they die. I don’t see anything wrong with it, but the point is that an organism (us) may change the environment to such an extent which even removes his own food source. Thus the organism is doomed to die.

Meta-evolution is even more interesting concept than evolution. And this is because it involves a complex interplay between organism, environment and evolution itself. Metaevolution may also be influenced by external events such as change in climatic conditions (change of earth from a violent to an earthly place), meteor collision (it wiped out dinosaurs), etc. I wonder what would have been life today if dinosaurs didn’t go extinct. Would humans still have arisen???

See, we can very well say that life is helping in the evolution of environment on earth rather than the other way. But it is all the same thing in light of metaevolution. It doesn’t matter if we say if organism changes environment or environment changes organism, the fact is that there is a constant change between the two. And due to the change the evolution itself evolves.

But, does evolution also follows the same rules such as survival of the fittest. Maybe, we can know the answer if we can see the affect same organisms on two radically different environments such as two different planets (if life exists beyond earth). Or, we may very well compare the different aspects of metaevolution on a computer simulation. In my view, the essence of evolution in extreme places such as hot-springs or glaciers is very much different than we see at other places on earth. How is the evolution different there? It has been suggested by the researchers that the conditions of Hydrothermal Systems represent early conditions of earth. So by studying, the evolution there we might notice how the evolution has been shaped on the earth. But I truly metaevolution needs more thought and study. But if it is true, we see that evolution has evolved into an entirely different species at places where life exists on the edge.

Can there be metametaevolution?? Yes, of course we can do anything on computer simulations. Or if alternate universes exist!!!

There have been a lot of research studies on micro bubbles in recent years.

Micro bubbles are miniature gas bubbles of less than 50 microns diameter in water. The micro bubbles, which mostly contain oxygen or air, can remain suspended in the water for an extended period. Gradually, the gas within the micro bubbles dissolves into the water and the bubbles disappear. These bubbles are generated by various types of aerators now available in the market.

These micro bubbles, being of extremely small size, are characterized by having electrical charges. They attract suspended floating particles very effectively. This particular property has been used in sludge treatment by using the micro bubbles to capture and float organic matters, thus decreasing the time required for the sludge treatment.

Micro bubbles have also been introduced by the Japanese to market safe and good tasting oysters. Micro bubbles of concentrated oxygen containing about 2% ozone can be used to inactivate norovirus in shellfish and oysters. This norovirus is one of the major pathogens causing food poisoning in winter. This is a much more cost effective method compared to cultivating the oysters in sterile seawater and using chlorine-based germicide.

Another emergent usage of micro bubbles is in the areas of cancer treatment. Scientists are in the process of developing a method of diagnosing cancer lesions by injecting micro bubbles into the blood stream. During the ultrasonic scan for cancer lesions, the micro bubbles contract and expand rapidly due to the pressures produced by the ultrasonic beam. Groups of the micro bubbles at cancerous tumours will show up very visibly on ultrasonic scans to indicate the presence of cancerous cells.

Due to their large surface area volume ratio, micro bubbles can penetrate deeply into a surface for effective cleaning. This cleaning effect of micro bubbles is used in cleaning the inside of vegetables such as cabbage and radish sprout, as well as maintenance of freshness with vegetables in one particular vegetable processing center in Japan.

On a more personal level, the micro bubbles can penetrate deeply into skin for a good scrub without the need for any shampoo or soap. This skin treatment has been introduced within some spas in Japan as well as shops specializing in bathing pets. Needless to say, the baths are especially helpful for pets which have skin allergies to pet shampoos.

In a country portrayed to be the wealthiest oil nation in the
world, Saudi Arabia also has the greatest divergence between
the wealthy and poor. With the average individual income at
$7,500 per year the poor is kept at bay by charity. Something
we all know the Saudis are good at. Men by the hundreds line up
to meet the prince and ask (is it asking or begging) for
financial help for whatever ails them. Is this charity? Or is
it a clever way to keep the not-so-fortunate from rising up?
Over generations of this practice, the locals have become
accustom. At what point do they rebel against these extreme
unjust ways of life that they have been delt.? At what point do
AMERICANS realize that this is the kind of society we depend
way too much on and far too often?!?!

CNBC reported last week that OPEC (or could we just say the House
of Saud) said that ‘the current average price of oil is not
sufficient (high) enough to meet the needs of the OPEC
countries.’ Gee… wonder why the 10 year oil futures have been
propelling themselves into space over the past few years? ? What
does this all mean?… America is dependent on an extremely
unstable country(s). I fear that this will soon come to a head
and Americans will be up the creek with only half a paddle.

Over the past 30 years., approx. 75% of U.S. trade deficit was
money gone to oil imports – That must change What Americans don’t
realize is the great divergence in the prices of the things we
consume. . . and it’s about to catch up. . . One quart of oil for
you car costs between $2-$5. One gallon as gas about $2. But if
you’re in a restaurant and order a Coke or a glass of milk, it is
nearly SIX times that. Now you tell me something, do you need a
“Coke and a smile” to get to work in the morning? FACT – Saudi
OIL FIELDS are shrinking as oil prices are flying. During the
70’s, 15 oil fields pumped one million barrels per day – Today
only two of those are at a steady (or is it) one million.

OPEC’s SECRET SHORTAGE THAT THEY WONT TELL YOU – Today’s oil
reserves estimates DO NOT include the two billion barrels of oil
that was burned in the 91′ Gulf War. Yet, OPEC has added 287
billion barrels to their reserves without claiming any new oil
discovery. – Anyone smell anything fishy???

All this is reason enough that Americans need to work together,
in a NON-PARTISAN effort and bring CLEAN – RENEWABLE ENERGY TO
AMERICAN SOIL ASAP!! America needs to follow in the foot step of
Denmark – where they actually produce more electricity than they
consume… and sell the rest.
